The manufacturing process for pavers produce a product that is denser and can hold more weight than regular concrete. Most pavers are rated at 8000 PSI and are comparable to the strength of natural stone. In addition, interlocking pavers allow for expansion and contraction without cracking like monolithic slabs of concrete.
